I'm Melissa Codi

I help artists grow artistically and spiritually through faith-infused lessons & resources.

Hello!

I’m a mom & wife, licensed PreK-12th grade art educator, creative guide, and believer in Christ on a lifelong journey of creativity & faith.

I created this space to inspire creative living rooted in faith, creativity, and purpose. I help people reconnect with their God-given creativity through encouraging content, art education, meaningful sketchbook devotionals, and helpful guidance for anyone looking towards a creative career.

Whether you’re a parent, homeschooler, educator, or just a creative soul looking for inspiration, you’re welcome here!

With over a decade of teaching experience, I combine biblical wisdom, therapeutic art principles, world art history and playful artistic exploration to guide learners in using art not just for skill and inspiration, but also for growth, healing, expression, and deeper purpose.

My passion is guiding creatives to:

  • Discover joy in creating art

  • Explore the world’s art history

  • Grow in Biblical wisdom and self-awareness

  • Nurture their own unique artistic talents

Here, you’ll find:

  • Tools to help you create with more confidence, intention, and joy

  • Practical tips for mixed media and creative exploration

  • Inspiration from art history and master artists

  • Faith-infused content that provides timeless wisdom and encourages self-reflection

  • Encouraging pep talks to uplift and refresh your spirit

  • Guidance to help you uncover your unique artistic voice and purpose

{ I'm currently working on creating a paid subscription service where my lesson plans and resources can be delivered to your inbox monthly. Subscribe to my newsletter & stay tuned for updates if you're interested! }

It’s an honor to share what I’ve learned with you and help your light shine even brighter!

Let's create together.

Fun Fact:

Melissa means "honey bee" in Greek. I've found that my life's purpose is meant to be like that of honey bee - making a big impact, one person(flower) at a time. You'll find honeycomb shapes sprinkled throughout the designs of my logo, website and products. It's a little reminder (to myself and those who know the history) to not underestimate the impact of small, consistent actions, the power of community, or the places courage can take you.
